Here at Gill Edge we can offer a wide variety of holidays ranging from walking, cycling, riding or just relaxing.

Gill Edge enjoys unrivalled views across Wensleydale to the north, and Raydale to the south. The elevated position ensures peace and tranquility, yet we are only a mile from the bustling and picturesque village of Bainbridge where you can enjoy local hospitatlity at the Rose & Crown, and a game of quoits on the village green. Carful you don't end up in the stocks, though.

We have three holiday cottages for you to choose from, all have a double and a twin bedded room, ideal for families.

In addition to our three cottages, we run a riding centre next door to the holiday cottage complex, and in the riding school you can take beginner, intermediate and advanced lessons or enjoy a relaxing hack out with one of our experienced instructors or staff.

Gill Edge is also ideally placed for the keen walker or cyclist. Footpaths and bridelways galore from the front door of your cottage mean that a week of exploration will just fly by.

Motoring tours are also a dream come true. Gill Edge is right in the heart of the magnificant Yorkshire Dales, and Cumbria with it's wild fells and stunning Lakeland scenery can be reached in less than an hour by car.
